MADEC's Indigenous Wellbeing Support Program (IWS) is to assist our Indigenous participants who may be experiencing difficulties with drug and alcohol abuse, criminal justice system or domestic and family violence by linking them with services.


Job Description


Our Objective

MADEC's Indigenous Wellbeing Support Program (IWS) is to assist our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants who may be experiencing difficulties with drug and alcohol misuse, criminal justice system or domestic or family violence by connecting them with services.

About the Role

* Based in Swan Hill, this role will assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait people who may be experiencing difficulties with drug and alcohol misuse, criminal justice system or domestic or family violence. You will play a key part in providing case management services and connecting our participants to essential networks and service agencies, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their goals. Collaborative partnerships with external service providers are essential to promote our Indigenous Wellbeing Support service/program and keeping participants engaged to achieve a positive outcome.

About You?

Are you passionate about working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and driving impactful change? We're looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in community engagement to join our team. Excellent administration skills are needed to maintain the program and deliver reporting requirements. Above all else, you are dedicated to making a difference in the Indigenous community and achieve positive outcomes with your participants.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

A National Police Check, Working with Children check and Driving Licence are required on commencement in the role.
