The Role The Technical Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimising technology solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem and beyond, including our clients Zavanti property and tenancy management system (built on Dynamics 365) and Microsoft Business Central as well as Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps. Reporting to the Solutions Delivery Manager The Technical Business Analyst will collaborate (in particular with the Chief Finance Officer and Chief People officer) and Systems Analysts, BI Analyst, Systems Developer and others in the Technology Team, as well as with other teams and stakeholders, to ensure that systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with the organisation's mission of providing affordable housing. Key Areas of Focus Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, run workshops and translate business needs into clear technical solutions and business cases. Process Analysis & Improvement: Map and optimise business processes, identifying efficiencies through workflow automation and system enhancements. Technology Solutions Delivery: Design and implement scalable solutions across Dynamics 365, Business Central, Zavanti and the Microsoft Power Platform. Data & Systems Integration: Develop Power BI dashboards and manage APIs, integrations and data migration to ensure seamless system connectivity. Project Delivery & Innovation: Lead system upgrades and digital initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve technology, efficiency and user experience. The Person To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise and a collaborative approach. You will have: 5 years’ experience strengthening business analysis and documentation capability. Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Zavanti and the Microsoft Power Platform. An articulate communicative style with a strong collaborative business-partnering approach. A degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications highly regarded.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with project delivery experience. Experience in the for-purpose sector or a genuine passion for community impact and social outcomes.
