SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - COFFS HARBOUR - PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRM (JOB ID 1511)
Our client is a leading independent network of accountants, auditors and advisors with 26 partners and 220+ professionals across Queensland and Northern NSW. They provide tailored accounting, tax, audit, and consulting services to privately owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and ASX-listed companies across Australia and internationally.
The Role:
* Deliver accounting, compliance and advisory services across a diverse client base
* Prepare and review accounts, annual returns, BAS, trusts and companies
* Conduct taxation work, including researching and concluding tax issues, preparing and checking individual, company, trust and partnership returns
* Managing FBT processes
* Monitor client management reports to identify opportunities for business improvement
* Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon
* Support junior staff through mentoring and guidance
About You:
* Minimum 4 years' professional services experience in a mid-tier accounting firm
* CA/CPA-qualified or actively working towards certification
* Proficient in Xero, MYOB and Reckon
* Strong technical skills across accounting, compliance and advisory
* Excellent communication, client service and relationship-building skills
* Can-do attitude with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
