Our residential team is growing, and we’re looking for a Residential Draftsperson who brings strong Revit capability, solid construction knowledge, and a genuine commitment to accuracy and collaboration.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the detail of residential design, appreciates clear processes, and wants to work in a team where kindness and humility matter just as much as technical skill.
Your impact
You’ll play a key role in turning concepts into build‑ready documentation. Working closely with our Pre‑Construction team, you’ll help refine designs, coordinate information, and ensure every drawing supports smooth, predictable construction outcomes.
In this role, you will:
* Produce accurate, coordinated documentation from concept to full construction sets using Revit
* Create 3D renders using Lumion
* Work closely with the Design Manager and senior design team to maintain design intent and documentation quality
* Liaise with internal project managers, consultants, and contractors
* Ensure plans comply with the NCC, Australian Standards, and State & Local Government regulations
* Manage drawing revisions, issue sets, and document control
* Support constructability outcomes and problem‑solve unique modular requirements
* Produce full working drawings across a range of residential project types
* Provide technical support and respond to external queries
What you’ll bring
* Qualification in Building Design, Architecture, or related field (or relevant industry experience)
* Demonstrated experience in residential projects
* Strong construction knowledge and understanding of residential detailing
* Proficiency in Revit (especially from project start‑up) and documentation
* Experience interpreting architectural, engineering, & consultant documentation
* Strong understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, and State & Local regulations
* Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
* Ability to work autonomously, proactively, and collaboratively
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
* High attention to detail and technical accuracy
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Bonus: Modular construction experience (highly regarded but not essential)
