About the role
Taylor's Window Supplies are seeking a highly experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating glazing and facade projects at our construction sites in the Canberra Region. This is a key leadership role, playing a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and supervise the work of glazing and facade installation teams on construction sites
* Liaise with project managers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development
What we're looking for
* Substantial experience (5+ years) as a Site Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry, with a focus on glazing and facade projects
* Hands on experienced commercial window installer
* Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
* Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in construction or glazing
