We are delighted to be partnering with a leading international industrial organisation, renowned for its long-standing presence across Oceania and South East Asia, to find an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their Australian and New Zealand operations.
With a strong legacy dating back over a century and a recent acquisition by a global engineering group, this is a pivotal time to join the business as it enters its next phase of growth and transformation.
As HR Business Partner, you'll act as a key advisor and coach across the business, supporting both leadership and staff on all aspects of people and culture. This is a true generalist role that spans employee relations, policy development, organisational development, and coaching. You'll have the opportunity to shape and influence a people-first culture while ensuring alignment with broader corporate strategies in a dynamic and technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with managers and employees across Australia and New Zealand to deliver pragmatic, people-focused HR support
* Lead all local HR initiatives, from policy implementation and performance management to engagement strategies
* Drive alignment with global HR programs while tailoring initiatives to suit local business needs
* Provide advice on complex employee relations matters, coaching leaders through change and performance issues
* Contribute to broader people strategies, collaborating across a matrixed global organisation
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence at all levels
* Experienced in employee relations, coaching, and driving change in white-collar or operational environments
* Comfortable operating within a matrix structure and working with international stakeholders
