**About the role**
UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business has an opportunity for a Production Coordinator to join the Component Overhaul team based at our facility in Broadmeadow, Newcastle NSW on a permanent full time basis.
Reporting to the Production Planner, this role is responsible for working with the production team, customers (where applicable) and other key stakeholders to estimate and agree budgets and timescales, plan work to be included in the production schedule then ensure that production schedules are met, and work is completed on time.
This role will work with purchasing, production and warehouse to expedite product through the Business Unit.
**About you**
- Trade certificate, Diploma or further education is preferred.
- Good knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Experience gained in the rail, automotive, defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment desired
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
