Smoke Alarm Compliance Specialist
A compelling opportunity exists for a skilled Electrician to assume responsibility for smoke alarm and safety compliance inspections at residential rental properties. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring the effective installation and testing of smoke alarms, conducting water efficiency checks, verifying blind cord safety compliance, cleaning air conditioning filters, and performing basic switchboard safety assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspecting and testing hardwired smoke alarms to ensure optimal functionality
* Conducting comprehensive water efficiency audits
* Verifying compliance with blind cord safety regulations
* Cleaning air conditioning filters to maintain indoor air quality
* Performing basic switchboard safety checks to identify potential hazards
Essential Qualifications:
* Possession of a current Unrestricted Electrical Licence
* Holding a valid Driver's Licence
* Proficiency in using an iPhone and mobile applications
* Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment
* Willingsness to undergo a National Police Check
