Job Title: Approvals and Cultural Heritage Specialist
This role involves leading the integration of approvals, native title, and cultural heritage considerations into infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
* Prepare and lead impact assessments and management plans for approvals, native title, and cultural heritage.
* Collaborate with the Program Delivery Office to establish work processes for managing approvals, regulatory requirements, and native title and cultural heritage considerations throughout the program lifecycle.
* Identify key issues, risks, and opportunities for engagement with Traditional Owners on matters of native title and cultural heritage.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate expertise in approvals, native title, and cultural heritage knowledge, education, and management skills. You will also have experience in leading the design and implementation of cultural heritage relationship models, management plans, and projects.
The successful candidate will be able to produce clear, concise technical documentation, including assessments, reports, and business requirements. They will also have a proven track record of facilitating cultural heritage education campaigns with various stakeholders.
