This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and people-focused leader to shape the future of disability services across regional NSW. As Director – NDIS, you'll play a pivotal role in leading service excellence, ensuring compliance under the NDIS Practice Standards, and driving sustainable, client-centred growth. Reporting to the Executive Director – NDIS & Community Services, you'll oversee a high-performing team delivering services across Newcastle, the Hunter, Central Coast, and Mid North Coast regions.
About the Role
* Provide operational leadership across all NDIS services, ensuring quality, compliance, and financial sustainability.
* Build capability and inspire a strong performance culture across regional teams.
* Contribute to strategic and commercial planning, including new service models and fee‑for‑service growth.
* Strengthen partnerships across government, health, and community sectors to enhance participant outcomes.
* Lead through change and embed a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
* Represent the organisation confidently and uphold its values of inclusion, accountability, and respect.
* Travel regularly within the organisation's regional footprint; all travel expenses are reimbursed.
About You
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience within complex or multi‑site NDIS or community services.
* Proven ability to lead through change, build capability, and inspire a performance culture.
* Commercial and strategic mindset, ideally with exposure to social enterprise models or fee‑for‑service growth.
* Expertise in quality, risk, and safeguarding under the NDIS Practice Standards.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
* Capacity to step into or act as Executive Director, where required.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications, NDIS and Working with Children Checks, and a current driver's licence are essential.
