Join us as an Instrumentation Technician at Elgas LimitedWe are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Port Botany, NSW. This role involves maintaining electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.Key Responsibilities include:Organizing and completing routine maintenance and repairs of instrumentation and mechanical equipment.Achieving KPIs in collaboration with the manager to ensure safe and reliable operations.Managing costs, planning, and implementing improvement initiatives aligned with EMOC principles.Leading a team during turnaround work, supporting contractor activities, and developing asset maintenance strategies.Sharing after-hours responsibilities to support plant maintenance and failure response.Qualifications and Experience:Electrical/Instrumentation Trade qualification and a full electrical license.3-5 years of experience in process plant operations, preferably in hazardous areas with high voltage knowledge.Understanding of modern instrumentation, DCS, PLC, ESD, and process control software.Experience with work planning, CMMS, PID diagrams, and control loop diagrams.Knowledge of ASU, LNG, VPSA, and CO2 plant hazards is advantageous.Strong decision-making, communication, and people management skills.Why Join Us?At Linde, we prioritize safety, innovation, and employee development.
