Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As a key player in our organisation's growth strategy, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving sales performance.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and proactive outreach
* Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and brand loyalty
* Explore untapped markets and identify opportunities for business expansion
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to implement effective sales strategies
* Create and present compelling proposals for our organization's products or services
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
* Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and business goals
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
* Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
* Provide regular reports on sales performance and market insights to senior management
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B environment
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
* Natural leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Passion for identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities
* Enthusiasm for building and maintaining long-term client relationships
* Self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
* Strategic thinking capabilities to develop and implement effective sales strategies
* Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
