About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Catholic Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents and contribute to our mission to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
* Act as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
* Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements:
* A current AHPRA registration
* A Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
* A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
* Strong coaching/training skills
* Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
* Competent IT skills
* A willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
