This is a brand-new role within an innovative pilot program, offering the rare opportunity to shape and lead holistic wellbeing and therapeutic groups, as well as individual counselling programs from the ground up. The role sits within a multidisciplinary trauma recovery service that integrates counselling, casework, group work and holistic healing approaches to support women on their recovery journey.
The Team Leader will lead a dedicated team delivering therapeutic groups, counselling, massage therapy and somatic healing approaches within a trauma-informed, feminist framework.
This role offers the chance to help shape a holistic healing model that is still evolving, working alongside senior leadership to ensure women accessing the service receive integrated and compassionate care.

The role
You will provide clinical and operational leadership to a team delivering therapeutic groups, counselling and holistic wellbeing programs.
This includes:
* Leading, mentoring and supervising staff and external practitioners delivering group and individual programs and holistic therapies
* Overseeing the development, delivery and evaluation of therapeutic and psychoeducational group programs
* Supporting risk assessment, safety planning and trauma-informed practice across programs
* Working collaboratively with counselling and casework teams to ensure integrated care for women accessing the centre
* Contributing to program design, service development and continuous improvement
About you
You are an experienced practitioner and leader who is passionate about trauma recovery and women's wellbeing.
You will bring:
* Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or a related discipline or extensive relevant experience
* Experience leading teams within community or trauma-informed services
* Strong experience delivering or coordinating therapeutic groups with trauma-affected populations
* Deep understanding of domestic, family and sexual violence and trauma-informed practice
* A commitment to cultural safety, feminist practice and social justice principles
Experience in somatic therapies or creative therapeutic approaches will be highly regarded.
