Due to continued growth Within the Marine industry, Marine Trade Supplies Superstore is hiring. We are looking for high-energy, \"switched-on\" professionals to join our 2,000sqm flagship store. You might even be a Superstar all-rounder happy to help in all three areas outlined, supporting us as we grow!
Depending on your unique skillset, we have the potential for multiple hires across these areas (both permanent and casual). We are happy to evaluate candidates on a case-by-case basis:
1. Chandlery Sales & Technical \"Parts Interpreter\"
Do you love boats and helping people find solutions? This is an inviting, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys the \"hunt\" for the right part.
* The Work: You'll be a Salesperson and a \"Parts Interpreter,\" diving into wholesaler catalogues and websites to find specific replacement parts and create quotes.
* On the Floor: You'll be walking the floor with customers, showing them in-stock solutions—from plumbing and low-voltage wiring to trailer parts, ropes, marine paints, resins, fibreglass, and even clothing.
* Training: Boating experience would be great, however, we offer full on-the-job training for the right person with a great \"can-do\" attitude.
2. The Paint Locker (Technical Sales & Support)
Working directly with our Marine & Protective Coatings Manager, you'll be at the heart of the Gold Coast's premier marine paint facility.
* The Work: Tinting and colour scanning for everyone from the best superyacht painters in the country to first-time DIY customers wanting guidance and support.
* Logistics: Local pickups/deliveries in our manual ute and ensuring the \"Paint Locker\" is perfectly merchandised.
* Safety: Includes regular heavy lifting (up to 32kg) with a \"safety-first\" mindset.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Assistant
The \"engine room\" of our store. We need accuracy and speed to keep our massive inventory moving safely.
* The Work: Receiving, counting, and receipting stock into our Windows-based system.
* Experience: Warehouse experience is great, but our role is unique—you see products from receipt right through to the sales floor. There is a very real opportunity to grow into a sales role.
* Physicality & Safety: Involves heavy lifting (up to 32kg). You must be able to identify when a two-person lift is required to maintain our strict WHS standards.
* Logistics: Local pickups in our manual ute and operating the walkie-stacker.

What You Need:
* Manual Australian Driver's License (Essential for ute/deliveries).
* Computer Literacy: Ability to navigate supplier websites and sales software.
* Physical Fitness: Ability to handle manual tasks safely and stay active all day.
