National Account Manager – Independents
Based in Sydney's North Shore. Reporting to a Senior Key Account Manager, this role will take ownership of key independent customers nationally, driving sustainable revenue growth, distribution expansion, and profitable commercial outcomes.
Key areas of responsibility
* Developing and executing annual and long-term customer strategies to deliver revenue, volume, and margin targets
* Leading Joint Business Planning processes with independent customers at both National and State level
* Managing promotional strategy and trade investment to ensure strong ROI and commercial discipline
* Driving distribution, ranging, and category growth through data‐led insights and customer collaboration
* Owning full P&L accountability across assigned accounts, including forecasting, reporting, and financial performance
* Acting as the key commercial interface, building strong cross‐functional relationships internally and externally
We're looking for
A commercially astute National Account Manager with experience across FMCG, ideally with exposure to the independent retail channel. You will bring strong financial acumen, a proven ability to manage trade investment, and a track record of delivering sustainable growth through effective customer partnerships. A strategic mindset, combined with a proactive, hands‐on approach will be key to success in this role.
