About the Role
Join our dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of victims of crime. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with applicants accessing essential services and support through the Victims of Crime Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). You will be instrumental in helping victims receive the assistance they need for recovery, including counselling, medical care, and expenses related to the aftermath of crime.
In this role, you will also gain exposure to personal injury and migration law, developing a comprehensive understanding of these areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Engagement: Build rapport with individuals seeking assistance, answer initial inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide a warm welcome to the firm.
* File Management: Organize and manage documentation and information effectively.
* Case Management: Communicate with legal professionals, gaining insights into strategic case management.
* Drafting Correspondence: Compose impactful legal correspondence.
* Evidence Preparation: Contribute to building strong cases by assisting in the preparation of crucial evidence.
