The College is seeking a passionate and innovative Music Teacher to join the Music Faculty. This position includes 0.6 FTE classroom teaching and 0.2 FTE piano accompaniment, commencing Term 2, 2026 on a maximum-term contract to the end of the 2026 academic year.
About You
The successful applicant will have experience in teaching Music across Years 7-12, supporting students to develop their musical understanding, performance skills and appreciation of music. They will also demonstrate exceptional piano accompanying ability, with the capacity to accompany student performances for rehearsals, concerts and assessments, confidently sight‐reading and performing across a wide range of musical genres.
* hold appropriate teaching qualifications
* be accredited with NESA or eligible for accreditation to teach in NSW
* deliver engaging and challenging lessons for students of varying abilities
* demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
* show a commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning
* be willing to contribute to the Community Contribution Program of the College
* hold a current Working with Children Check and demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people
