Permanent part-time role Salary (Level 2 Officer): $75,884 to $82,373 per annum (FTE as of 1 July 2025) plus superannuation - salary adjusted to hours worked Based at Hilton Car parking onsite What you'll do As the Community Facilities Officer you will provide professional and effective customer services and reception services, as well as support the administrative and operational needs of a diverse and multi-discipline range of community facilities, contributing to the organisation and delivery of activities, services and special events for the community. Duties include: Ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of tasks related to housekeeping, maintenance, inspections, on-site risk management and transportation of equipment. Supporting Community Facilities financial responsibilities, including credit and return request processes, reconciliations, over-payments, and invoicing. Maintaining registers and plans for facility maintenance and equipment, and conduct and promptly act on facility maintenance inspections as necessary. Providing comprehensive facility inductions and site inspections, ensuring a tailored approach to each site and customer as needed. Processing and maintaining customer booking application forms This role is for 20 hours per week as rostered below: Monday 8:00am to 2:00pm 5.5 hours Tuesday 8:00am to 2:00pm 5.5 hours Wednesday 8:00am to 2:00pm 5.5 hours Friday 1:30pm to 5:00pm 3.5 hours Who you are If you are reliable, motivated and have experience in multi-use community facility operations, including using digital booking and venue management systems, you could be a great addition to the Council's Community Facilities team. It is essential you have well-developed problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with a strong focus and commitment to providing quality customer service. You must also have the following essential qualification(s) and/or relevant experience: Relevant qualifications in Event Management / Community Facility Management or related field and/or demonstrated experience Certificate qualification in Vision and Audio systems or relevant experience In accordance with the requirements of this role, a Class C drivers licence, National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months) and current Working with Children's Check will also be required as part of the recruitment process.
