Remuneration: $64,046.06 - $66,170.25 + 12% Super + Salary Packaging

Hours Per Week: 38

About The Role

An exciting opportunity to join the Birth Suite Team at John Hunter Hospital, providing essential administrative support to the Emergency Maternity Service and, when required, to the Birth Suite administration team. This vital frontline role supports women and families accessing emergency maternity care, ensuring their experience is welcoming, professional, and compassionate. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary clinical team, you will help deliver efficient, coordinated, and high‑quality care.


Key Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist women and families attending the Emergency Maternity Service.
* Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and empathy.
* Accurately enter and update patient details in hospital administrative systems.
* Maintain filing systems and process paper‑based medical records promptly.
* Provide administrative support to the clinical and Birth Suite teams as required.
* Contribute to a seamless, high‑functioning service environment.
