What’s the role?
An exciting opportunity is available for a Cloud Managed Services (CMS) Tech Lead to own and operate our AWS cloud managed services function. This role is accountable for ensuring stability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of AWS-hosted workloads, while leading a team that supports customers throughout their cloud journey.
The CMS Lead will oversee day-to-day operations, drive service improvements, and act as the primary point of contact for escalations and service delivery excellence across the enterprise.
What do I need?
- Proven experience leading Cloud Managed Services (CMS) teams in large enterprise environments, delivering AWS-based managed services at scale.
- Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC networking.
- Hands‑on knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, backup/recovery, and cost management.
- Experience managing incidents, change control, and operational SLAs in a 24/7 mission-critical setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and enterprise monitoring platforms.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or equivalent AWS certification – preferred.
