Working within Upper Lachlan Shire Council towards your accreditation as a restricted Building Surveyor. You will receive comprehensive training and practical exposure to various aspects of: Assisting the regulatory department and gaining insightful information on Local Government Acts Interpretation of plans and development approvals Learning how to evaluate, investigate, research, document and report on environmental and health issues Collaborating with experienced practitioners to learn and develop valuable skills in the environmental and planning space. To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge: Ability to work as part of a team A can-do attitude, willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge Ability to work safely and follow instructions Commitment to full term study requirements Ongoing commitment to safety, quality and principles of continuous improvement Completion of High School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent industry experience. Drivers Licence (P1 or above) WHS Construction Induction (White Card) or willing to obtain During your tenure you'll be employed by Council, while completing on-the-job training.
