We are seeking a Preparatory School Teacher who is an enthusiastic, passionate educator to join our team, teaching Year 1 students in the Junior Primary area.
To be successful in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to:
* Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
* Provide feedback and professional support to improve individual student learning outcomes
* Be a positive contributor to the Co-curricular program
* Contribute to the development of a strong learning community and culture
* Contribute to Pastoral Care and Co-curricular programs of the School.
Key Selection Criteria includes:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience teaching students of all abilities in Junior primary
* High level of ICT skills, knowledge and effective incorporation into classroom practice
* To be working at least at proficient level, as described by the teacher professional standards, striving towards working at the HALT descriptors
* Regular and up to date professional knowledge and learning
* Involvement at relevant professional organisations.
You will be a resilient and optimistic educator who builds positive relationship with students, parents and colleagues and collaborates with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
