As a Banking Consultant in our Australia Retail Customer Engagement, you’ll play a key role in helping customers with a broad range of retail banking, financial products and services, including home and personal lending, deposits, cards and payments. This role is based mainly in branches, providing customers with a seamless banking experience by meeting each customer’s end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs-based conversations and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital. You will have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, conduct in-depth needs-based conversations, and fulfil products as per your accreditation level, delivering a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are satisfied and become strong advocates for ANZ.

- Friday: 09:00 AM - 04:30 PM
- Saturday: 00 hours
- Sunday: 00 hours
Your Day Look Like
As a Banking Consultant/Personal Banker, you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on digital solutions
- Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience
- Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value
- Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives
- Take responsibility to ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective
- Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage
- Experience in being a user and promoter of technology; working knowledge of using different digital channels is an advantage
- Ability to multi-task and high adaptability to change and ambiguity
- Willingness to work in a collaborative team setting
- Sound understanding of compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
