About the Role
You will work with the litigation team on a range of litigation and insolvency matters. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing litigation matters from start to finish, with supervision
* Drafting pleadings, court documents, affidavits, and correspondence
* Conducting legal research and assisting with advice and strategy
* Preparing briefs to counsel
* Attending mediations, pre-hearing conferences, and court appearances
* Liaising and meeting with clients, insurers, counsel, and third parties
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, court rules, and Lexon
* Time recording, billing, and diary management
* Meeting CPD requirements and taking part in firm training

About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* 2-3 years' post-admission experience in litigation (insolvency experience advantageous but not essential)
* Strong drafting skills, particularly in pleadings and court documents
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
* Confidence in managing client relationships with appropriate supervision
* A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Strong time management skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines
