The opportunity
Silverchain RDNS sets the standard for in-home and community services in Australia and can offer you a rewarding healthcare career as part of a dedicated team. In this role, you support clients to improve their independence, achieve physical and social goals, and enjoy quality of life in the comfort of their home. Using a holistic approach, you will conduct home evaluations to assess your client's motor skills, endurance, and assist them to engage in activities they find meaningful, like self-care and leisure for our Home Care Package clients.
With support from your team, you can work with autonomy and flexibility, enhance your clinical skills and build meaningful relationships with clients. Experience firsthand the lasting impact of your work on people's lives and the community.
About you
You have passion with purpose and are driven by excellence. Caring is a profession and a calling, and your work and support enriches everyone. In addition, you will have the following skills:
- Tertiary qualification in occupational therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Previous experience working as an OT in a community setting
- Previous experience in minor home modifications and equipment prescription
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team
- Current, full Australian driver's license
