**What you'll be doing**
Provide contemporary comprehensive Specialist Rehabilitation services at the Northern Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (NBIRS) for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care.
Provide clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.

**Where you'll be working**
The NNSWLHD Northern Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (NBIRS) is a community rehabilitation service focused on assessment, education and rehabilitation case management. It serves the second largest regional population in NSW and will assist to provide specialised multidisciplinary interventions in this area. The Service collaborates with external providers to meet the goals and needs of clients. The position is based at Ballina District Hospital in the NNSWLHD.

**Selection Criteria**
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Rehabilitation Physician, and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Rehabilitation Medicine specifically brain injury rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
