The opportunity & how you will make an impact: This is a great opportunity to join our Economics & Property team in Perth as a Senior Consultant, working on a diverse range of projects across residential, retail, mixed-use and urban development.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality analysis and advice to clients, while also taking ownership of projects from end-to-end. The role offers a balance of technical work, client exposure and project management.
The role also offers opportunities to work with project teams across other states and internationally.
You'll also have the opportunity to build your expertise, develop your client-facing skills and support the growth of junior team members, with clear pathways for progression over time.
You will:
Undertake research and analysis to support the delivery of high-quality reports, using both primary and secondary data
Conduct market, quantitative and qualitative research, applying insights to projects
Provide input and advice on economic and land use principles across a range of projects
Prepare and clearly articulate analysis, findings and forecasts
Support the development of analytical approaches, models and frameworks
Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and client expectations are met
Contribute to the preparation of client reports, presentations and other deliverables
Support business development activities, including proposals and presentations
Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Contribute to the training and development of Consultants and Research Analysts
Collaborate across teams to support broader Business Unit objectives
About you:
Degree in Economics, Property Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or similar
Approximately 4-6 years' experience in economics, property or consulting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience delivering reports and communicating insights clearly
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
Solid project management and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working both independently and in a team
Proficiency in feasibility software, such as EstateMaster, would be well regarded but is not essential
