Part-time continuing role (0.8 FTE | Tuesday–Friday on-site at Camperdown) Support the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Sydney Base salary $89,755 (pro rata) 17% superannuation The Faculty of Medicine and Health is seeking an Education Administration Officer to play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program within the Sydney Medical School. Based at Camperdown, and occasionally working across our precincts, you will provide a broad range of administrative and educational support services to academic and teaching staff, ensuring the program runs smoothly and students have an exceptional learning experience. As an Education Administration Officer, you’ll be at the centre of our teaching operations -supporting academics, professional staff, clinicians, and students to ensure high-quality learning and teaching across the program. Your work will be varied, collaborative, and impactful. Key responsibilities include: coordinating clinical teaching – recruiting, engaging, and maintaining strong relationships with paid and volunteer clinical tutors and supervisors; managing timetables, bookings, and preparation of teaching spaces and teaching session support. partnering with stakeholders – liaising with academic staff, professional colleagues, and clinicians to support teaching delivery and strengthen collaborative relationships. supporting assessments – providing logistical support to ensure the smooth delivery of clinical and knowledge-based assessments within the MD Program. enhancing the student experience – contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters success, belonging, and engagement for all students. undertaking ad hoc administrative tasks – providing flexible support as required to meet the operational needs of the program. This role requires you to be on-site a minimum of four days per week. Hybrid working arrangements may be negotiated with your manager if you are successful in the position.
