The Role
We are seeking committed and reliable Support Workers (male and female) to join our team in Caboolture for day and sleepover shifts. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, empathetic, and experienced in supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality support including personal care, medication reminders, and assistance with daily living tasks
* Manage and respond appropriately to behaviours of concern, using proactive and person-centred strategies
* Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times
* Record accurate progress notes and incident reports when required
* Support clients with morning or evening routines depending on shift requirements
* Adhere to individual support plans and NDIS standards
* Promote dignity, independence, and respectful engagement with clients
About You:
* Minimum 6 months experience in disability support, aged care, or similar role
* Experience supporting clients with behaviours of concern (essential)
* Comfortable working day and sleepover shifts
* Strong understanding of person-centred care and complex support needs
* Reliable, empathetic, and professional at all times
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Valid First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check / Yellow Card (required)
* Driver's licence and own vehicle (preferred)
