_**Volta is seeing a venue manager to step in and runs Ballarat's premiere live music venue and nightclub.**_
We are on the hunt for a Venue Manager with the focus of continuing our top rate service and continuing to nurture and develop the reputation and culture we have built since opening.

Working closely with senior management, you will have the opportunity to shape a dynamic culture for the venue and its team in line with strategic plans. Your input will be sought in identifying areas for development. You will be responsible for driving the performance of the venue through achieving goals and implementing strategies around the day to day operation.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Hands-on leadership and accountability of your team, including supervision and evaluation of performances
- Creating and maintaining an atmosphere where customer service standards can thrive
- Driving sales to meet your targets and budgets
- Product procurement and creating beverage offers
- Controlling operational costs
- Compliance in both regulatory and company standards
- Participating in and contributing to group management
- Strong planning and forecasting ability in regards to local events and functions
- Being the face of the venue to artists performing at the venue
**The successful applicant will**:
- Have suitable experience in hospitality management
- Have a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, customer service standards, and how to exceed them
- The ability to engage and build relationships with regular clientele and artists
- Have a professional manner and presentation
- Be available weekends and nights
- Set an example for the staff
- Have RSA certification
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
