Morgans Financial Limited is looking for a friendly, proactive and highly organised Client Service Officer to join our well‐established Mackay branch. If you love keeping things running smoothly, enjoy helping people, and take pride in getting the details right, you'll feel at home here.
You'll work closely with an assigned Financial Planner and our Client Services Team to coordinate end‐to‐end administration—welcoming new clients, maintaining existing client records, and making sure documentation is accurate, compliant and ready on time. Your work will help deliver a seamless advice experience from first appointment through to ongoing reviews.
In this role, your time management and ability to prioritise will be key. You'll help draft review documentation and reporting, prepare implementation paperwork, and keep clients updated on administrative items—so the planner can stay responsive and focused. For the right candidate, there's a genuine opportunity to grow into senior administrative support.
Key responsibilities
* Managing phone and email enquiries, booking appointments, and coordinating the planner's calendar
* Coordinating administrative onboarding for new clients, including forms, identification requirements, and file set‐up
* Preparing for client meetings and reviews (meeting packs, follow‐ups, and action tracking)
* Maintaining accurate and compliant client records across internal systems, including ongoing service updates and data hygiene
* Drafting and coordinating review documentation and reporting for the assigned planner (data collation, templates, and formatting)
* Preparing implementation documentation and processing follow‐up administration (applications, rollovers, authorities, and provider correspondence)
* Liaising with new and existing clients on administrative matters and providing timely updates throughout the advice process
About you
* Are highly organised, reliable, and confident managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities
* Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, providers, and internal stakeholders (written and verbal)
* Have strong attention to detail and take a compliance‐focused approach to client files and documentation
* Enjoy supporting a busy adviser and proactively keeping workflows on track (following up actions, anticipating needs, and escalating issues appropriately)
* Bring a calm, client‐first approach and can handle sensitive information with discretion
* Have administration experience in financial services or a similar professional services environment (desirable), and confidence learning CRM/document management systems
* Experience supporting a financial planner—particularly with client onboarding, review preparation, and implementation follow‐up—is advantageous
What we offer
* A supportive, collaborative team and a well‐established local client base
* Structured onboarding plus ongoing training and development
* Clear processes, checklists and templates to help you succeed
* Ongoing coaching and support from experienced advisers and client service staff
* Varied work and the chance to take real ownership of client administration
* End‐to‐end exposure to advice processes (reviews and implementation) with a pathway to senior administration for the right candidate
* Flexible hours may be available for candidates with the right experience
* Modern office in a central Mackay location
* Stable, well‐respected branch with a strong local reputation
