This role requires strong analytical skills and experience translating complex business needs into technical solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure our data systems are fit-for-purpose, integrated, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
2. Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and data models
3. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Solution Architects, and Testers to ensure solutions meet business objectives
4. Support the design and delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and system enhancements
5. Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and system documentation to support delivery
6. Perform gap analysis and impact assessments on system and data changes
7. Contribute to testing activities by defining acceptance criteria and supporting defect triage
8. Liaise between business teams and technical delivery teams to ensure shared understanding
9. Maintain alignment with Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement and sprint planning
10. Monitor solution implementation to ensure requirements are met and quality standards upheld
Requirements:
* Proven experience translating complex business needs into technical solutions
* Strong understanding of data systems, data structures, and integration patterns
* Skilled in using analysis tools and techniques such as process mapping, data modeling, and SQL queries
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
* A collaborative mindset, able to work across multidisciplinary teams
* Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
* Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
* Attention to detail in documentation and solution design
* Proactive approach to identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities
