As a Business Development Manager, you will be the vital link between People First Bank and our network of mortgage brokers across NSW. Your expertise in credit risk, coupled with your strong stakeholder management skills, will enable you to build and grow broker relationships that deliver sustainable home lending growth. Based in the Greater Sydney area, this is a permanent full-time position, offered as hybrid/ WFH for NSW based applicants. Key responsibilities include: Proactive day to day management of our broker partnerships to effectively grow the broker business in line with growth aspirations and corporate strategies Development and implementation of business development and growth plans to acquire and nurture broker partnerships Leading broker accreditation, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management programs Building effective, strong and collaborative internals partnerships, to ensure delivery of the broker proposition in line with SLAs and KPIs Attending industry events to build and strengthen broker networks Providing leadership, guidance, coaching and support to the broker lending team About You As a naturally resilient person, you demonstrate confidence and composure when navigating challenging conversations and make sound decisions under pressure. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments where critical thinking and problem-solving are key. Comfortable with ambiguity, you proactively seek out solutions and aren’t afraid to ask the tough questions. While proven experience in business development would be highly regarded, you may also be an experienced credit assessor with a background in home and/or broker lending, who is seeking your next challenge. To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated and driven to achieve goals. You thrive in social settings and have proven relationship building and stakeholder management experience.
