About the Role:
An Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in assessing and providing intervention for paediatric clients with various diagnoses and disabilities.
* They utilise assessments such as ABC Movement, Beery, DASH, DVTP to evaluate client needs.
* The professional conducts Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments, Sensory Assessments, Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments, Home Modifications Assessments, Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments, Environmental Risk Assessments and Skill building and ongoing therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. The individual assesses client needs using various assessments.
2. They develop and implement individualised intervention plans to support clients' goals.
3. Accurate records and reports are maintained.
4. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams ensures comprehensive care.
5. Contribution to quality improvement initiatives within the organisation is expected.

Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy are essential.
* 12 months of OT experience is preferred.
* Registration with AHPRA or ability to register is required.

* Ability to obtain required clearances, such as NDIS, Working with Children, and Police Check, is expected.
