About School Infrastructure | Asset Management Division
School Infrastructure (SI) is delivering the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW. Our mission is to ensure every school-aged child has access to high-quality education facilities at their local public school. This includes new buildings, major upgrades, and long-term maintenance strategies.
About the role
* Provide financial and administrative services to support the effective operation of the Asset Management Unit (AMU)
* Respond to incoming telephone, email and face to face enquiries
* Filing and records management, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, photocopying, compilation of manuals and reports
* Data entry and raising purchase orders
* Preparation of agendas, organising venues and catering, and distributing minutes to contribute to the smooth running of meetings
* Maintain records management systems
* Create, store, retrieve and archive files to contribute to the provision of accurate and timely information for reports, submissions and general advice.

About you
* Experience in a customer service environment
* Great organisational skills and be able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in a high-volume environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook
* Experience in Procurement and Contract Management (or a willingness to up-skill in this area)
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
* Current NSW Driver's Licence
* On site presence at the office
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
