Industrial Engineering Role Overview
The Industrial Engineer will focus on optimizing production processes by balancing factors such as time, number of workers, throughput, efficiency, technology, actions required, and quality product delivery while ensuring worker safety.
They will eliminate wastefulness, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and devise ways to improve efficiency. The Industrial Engineer will also have experience with process improvement programs including PDCA, Six Sigma, Lean, RCA, SMED, and Kaizen.
Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, 5+ years of industrial engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond calmly in difficult situations while maintaining customer service focus.
As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement within production processes and implementing changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
