* Collaborate with the business development and engineering teams in Thailand to present and pioneer the market for engineered Eucalyptus wood products (Hardwood LVL) in Australia.
* Leverage existing databases or personal connections to prospect, conduct outreach, and set appointments with core target customers, specifically Prefabricators, Wholesalers/Distributors, and Contractors.
* Act as the frontline representative to converse and explain the fundamental properties of the product (e.g., the advantages of Hardwood LVL) using local terminology familiar to Australian carpenters and builders.
* Participate in client meetings (Empathy interviews / Sales Pitches) alongside the Thai team. The coordinator will focus on securing the appointment and building rapport, while the Thai team will support with in-depth engineering and structural calculation queries.
* Conduct post-meeting follow-ups and update customer data to assist the team with report preparation.
Qualifications required
* At least 2-3 years of experience working as a sales coordinator, internal sales, sales representative, or in a related role selling timber and building supplies in Australia.
* Strong understanding and familiarity with timber industry terminology (e.g., LVL, span tables, prefabrication, framing, structural grading).
* Having an existing network or connections with timber merchants and local contractors
* Excellent English communication skills (native or professional working proficiency)
* Not required to perform in-depth structural engineering calculations, but must be willing to learn basic technical product data to collaborate effectively with the technical support team in Thailand.
* Ability to work independently, manage time exceptionally well, and possess strong B2B negotiation skills.
* Be able to work in the office 3 days a week (if you live in Melbourne)
Compensation
* Pay Range: 35-45 AUD/hr based on experience and expertise.
