About the Opportunity We are currently offering a full-time Sales Support Merchandise opportunity to join our Katanning team.Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing robust customer relationships.
Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers.
Responsibilities Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goodsAssisting customers with pricing and product queriesProcessing counter salesMaintaining safety processesAssisting with merchandise campaign materialMaintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environmentLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries What we'll love about you To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment.
You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise.
In addition, you will demonstrate:Previous experience working within a sales environment preferred, but not essentialEffective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationshipsA proactive approach to work and practical organisation skillsExcellent attention to detailProblem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptlyAbility to identify ways to improve internal sales processesExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookA current driver's license is essentialForklift ticket desirable or a willingness to obtain one on the jobTruck licence a bonus but not essentialAg Chem certification ideal or willingness to obtain one on the job.
