This is a newly created opportunity for an experienced Senior HR professional to join a growing property business with a strong footprint in residential development. With a workforce soon to reach 200 employees, the business is expanding and places real value on people, culture, and high-quality outcomes.
Role details
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll take ownership of the full HR remit, operating both strategically and hands-on to support a dynamic, site-based workforce. You'll enjoy the autonomy to shape initiatives while partnering closely with leaders to build engagement and capability across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Leading the partnership with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure seamless, accurate, and compliant payroll operations that build trust across the business.
* Champion safe, supportive and healthy workplaces through oversight of Return to Work programs, safety and psychosocial wellbeing initiatives.
* Provide thoughtful and commercially sound employment advice under common law while helping the business prepare for future enterprise bargaining opportunities.
* Collaborate with senior leaders to design and embed people initiatives that lift performance, strengthen engagement and foster a cohesive, values-driven culture.
To succeed in this role
To succeed in this role, you'll bring broad HR experience, ideally gained within residential property, with exposure to larger or multi-brand environments. Your approach is pragmatic, collaborative and commercially attuned and you're confident balancing day-to-day operational needs with longer-term strategic objectives.
This position is based onsite five days a week and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a growing, values-driven business.
