We are seeking a talented individual to join our client's establishment in Hillarys, Western Australia as a Restaurant/Event Manager.
As a Restaurant/Event Manager, you are responsible for the development and generation of new business and events. Our Client is a premier destination known for its exceptional service, inviting atmosphere, and exciting events, from cozy gatherings to lively entertainment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain booking system and procedures for the venues and execute plans to promote hotel/pub events, including concerts, themed nights, and seasonal promotions.
* Manage restaurants, events, and functions bookings to maximize revenue.
* Monitor and assess customer feedback.
* Ensure that all event requirements are communicated and recognized to achieve high levels of client and customer satisfaction.
* Provide outstanding events leadership and supervision services while providing coordination and advice in a professional and timely manner.
* Work closely with the Head Chefs and venue team leaders to cost and plan innovative menus, presentation, table service, and bar functions that deliver high-quality catered experiences.
* Review all fees and charges including food, beverages, and pricing to maximize revenues. This will involve managing, monitoring, and improvements on budgets, forecasting, ordering, stock-takes, and financial control practices.
* Ensure catering operations are carried out in compliance with all liquor licensing, food safety systems, and workplace health and safety requirements.
* Manage and report on all financial aspects of the event and functions including budget development, fees, and charges, purchasing requirements, client accounts, event financial records, cash handling, and monthly financial reporting on outcomes to improve profitability and income streams.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field will be viewed favorably.
* Proven experience in marketing, event promotion, or hospitality management.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and website management.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
* Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills to track and measure campaign performance.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience working in the hospitality industry, particularly in a hotel/pub environment.
* Familiarity with event management software and ticketing platforms.
* Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
The position is full-time, with a salary of $65K - $85K a year depending on experience.
