We are looking for a hands‑on Earthworks Supervisor to join our close‑knit and committed crew. This is a rare opportunity to step into a site leadership role where your work is valued and your career can grow.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supervise day‑to‑day site operations across civil and earthworks projects
* Provide clear, practical leadership to a team of operators and trainees
* Interpret site plans and manage project activities to ensure quality, safety and timelines are met
* Operate machinery when needed to support crew productivity
* Run daily pre‑starts, toolbox talks and safety briefings
* Coordinate site resources including plant, materials and subcontractors
* Liaise with Project Managers & Engineers and ensure smooth, productive workflow
* Mentor team members and help build a high‑performing team
* Oversee basic machine maintenance, inductions and site paperwork
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience supervising civil and earthworks projects
* Confident leading crews and delivering clear direction on‑site
* Competent in reading plans and using GPS systems (Topcon or similar)
* Basic surveying skills (set‑out and pick‑up)
* Valid operator tickets and current driver's licence
* Excellent communication, team focus and problem‑solving ability
* Committed to safety and able to implement OHS procedures
* Willingness to travel to regional project sites (we will make sure you are looked after)
* Able to pass drug and alcohol testing when required
