In-house SEO & PPC Specialist
Mid–Senior level | Collingwood (hybrid)
We're looking to bring SEO and PPC capability fully in-house by hiring an experienced specialist who can
own organic and paid performance end-to-end
. This role will be responsible for
strategy, execution, optimisation and reporting
across SEO and Google Ads, including on-site SEO for website and project launches.
This hire will become the internal authority on
search visibility, paid media performance and continuous optimisation
.
* Minimum 3 years' experience
delivering technical on-site and off-site SEO
- Demonstrated SEO results
— able to showcase at least
four Australian websites
ranking strongly in competitive industries
- Proven PPC expertise
, including planning, running, and optimising
large-scale Google Ads campaigns
- Strategic PPC capability
— able to design full-funnel paid search structures (brand, non-brand, remarketing, testing and optimisation)
- Availability to work at least two days per week
from our Collingwood office
What you'll be responsible for
SEO strategy & execution
* Owning SEO strategy across retained clients and internal projects
* Conducting technical audits, on-page optimisation, content optimisation, and off-site initiatives
* Embedding SEO best practice into
website builds, redesigns and launches
from day one
- Identifying growth opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping
PPC strategy & performance
* Developing and owning
PPC strategy
, not just execution
- Planning and managing Google Ads programs across:
- Brand and non-brand search
- Remarketing and audience-based campaigns
- Testing and experimentation frameworks
- Managing budgets, bids, and performance with a strong focus on
ROI and efficiency
- Continuously refining account structure to support scale, learnings, and long-term performance
Reporting, insight & collaboration
* Owning performance reporting across SEO and PPC, turning data into
clear insights and recommendations
* Working closely with strategy, design, and development teams to ensure performance considerations are integrated early
* Acting as the internal subject-matter expert for search and paid media, guiding best practice across the agency
