Your new role: As a valued member of our Vascular Surgery Unit, you'll deliver base-level vascular clinical services and progressively take on more complex examinations under the guidance of senior staff. You'll work closely with an interprofessional team to ensure high-quality patient assessment, education, and care planning while contributing to service development, research, and team learning. Key Responsibilities * Provide vascular ultrasound assessments, intervention and evaluation in line with departmental protocols and evidence-based practice. * Apply growing independent clinical judgment while working under senior supervision. * Manage a varied caseload using effective time-management, prioritisation and accurate documentation. * Participate in interprofessional meetings, case conferences and departmental discussions. * Liaise with patients, carers, colleagues, students and external agencies to ensure a patient-centred approach. About you: You are a motivated, patient-centred professional passionate about developing your skills in vascular science and ultrasound. About us: The Vascular Lab provides a comprehensive range of non-invasive vascular investigations within the Vascular Surgery Unit. The Vascular Surgery Unit also engages in active research programs into improved diagnostic procedures. The successful Vascular Scientist (sonographer) has an important role in providing this service, while also undertaking research activities within the Vascular Surgery Unit.
