We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Perth-based engineering team to work on mining and resource projects located in Australia and overseas. Our projects include tailings and waste storage facilities, water management structures, water dams, and mine infrastructure projects. We are engaged in the entire project cycle from feasibility, site investigation, design, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance, and closure.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Work on our large tailings, waste storage facilities, water management structures, water dams, and mine infrastructure projects portfolios, designing practical solutions for challenging conditions.
Develop practical solutions based on detailed assessments and analyses and the opportunity to defend your solutions to clients and third-party review panels.
Manage and lead projects including the development, review and approvals of technical specifications, drawings and design reports and tender packages for major tailings dams, mine waste facilities, containment facilities and mine infrastructure projects.
Provide input and prepare conceptual detailed engineering designs, engineering studies, feasibility studies and condition assessments.
Work closely with clients from concept design through to construction, commissioning and operational stages of the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain strong client relationships and work continually to develop and grow the business.
Attributes & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil or Geotechnical).
CPEng / RPEQ certification or eligibility to apply within 12 months of joining.
Demonstrated experience in planning, investigation, assessment, design and construction of tailings and water dams and waste storage.
Familiarity with ANCOLD/ICOLD/GISTM/CDA guidelines and standards.
