Job Title: Financial Crime Risk Analyst
The role of a Financial Crime Risk Analyst involves analyzing suspicious activities, identifying and mitigating potential financial risks, including money laundering and fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyzing transactions and financial data to identify patterns and anomalies that may indicate financial crime activity
* Preparing Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) and other documentation as required by regulatory bodies
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement controls and procedures to prevent financial crime
* Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulatory requirements related to anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
* Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
* Proven experience in AML/CFT regulations and compliance
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Professional certifications such as CAMS or CFA would be an asset
