The Role
* We are seeking a skilled Head Chef to oversee food production, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
* This includes planning, supervising, and monitoring food production across functions and menu-based catering.
* The successful candidate will lead a small team of culinary talents, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
* You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, procuring ingredients, controlling costs, and minimizing food wastage.
About You
* You must hold a minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery qualification.
* A strong culinary background and leadership experience are essential.
* Current Police Check or ability to obtain is required.
* You should have experience with bulk cooking and functions & events catering.
* Leadership, mentoring, and team development skills are crucial in this role.
* Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety, and infection control is necessary.
