Production Blasting Role
About this role:
Work on day-to-day tasks associated with production blasting, maintaining mine services, production bogging and trucking.
* Perform acting duties of other roles (service crew, loader operator, underground dump truck, grader, rock breaker, magazine keeper etc.)
* Maintain mine services (air, water, ventilation, spray lines, firing lines)
* Use controlled explosives or rockbreakers to remove oversize produced by the cave
* Operate and hot seat production equipment safely and efficiently, as required
* Promote high safety performance through personal commitment to policies and procedures
Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
* holds a current Queensland security explosives clearance card (QSEC)
* has previous experience operating underground mining machinery (IT, Forklift, Basic Loader/Trucks)
* has relevant industry experience of working in underground/blasting operations
* is committed to safety
* can self-manage time and workloads
