Join our team to assist with the ieMR implementation at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital.
Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy *******.
The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by ****.
Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities.
Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
Manage the delivery of medium to large scale ICT infrastructure uplift and device deployment project/s using approved standards, project product planning and management techniques in alignment with DMN Digital Portfolio Management Office (PMO) best practice guidelines and tools as well as Queensland Health's project management methodologies.
Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with clinical stakeholders, eHealth Digital Health and Business Solutions, eHealth Infrastructure Technology Services (eHITS), eHealth Digital Application Services – ieMR (DAS ieMR), Biomedical Technology Services (BTS), Building, Engineering & Maintenance Services (BEMS), hardware and software vendors, satellite hospital construction projects, hospital expansion projects and other DMN teams to assess, design, procure and implement infrastructure in healthcare facilities.
Lead, manage and monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules against baselines and agreed tolerances to ensure projects continue to be delivered against time, quality, cost, scope and realisation of benefits.
Support the implementation of continuous process improvement activities within Digital Metro North.
About the role
This role is full time with the standard hours of operation being 8:00am – 4:06pm, Monday to Friday.
