About Our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service
As a specialist mental health clinician, you will provide recovery-focused services for children and young people presenting with symptoms of mental illness, distress and/or risk issues.
* You will work collaboratively to deliver expert assessment, therapy, and care coordination for individuals navigating complex mental health challenges.
* You will make a positive impact in the lives of our consumers by supporting their mental wellness and promoting community resilience.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual with experience in contemporary clinical child and adolescent mental health practice.
The successful applicant will possess high-level communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders including consumers, families and carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide recovery-focused clinical services to children and young people experiencing mental health challenges
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert assessment, therapy, and care coordination
3. Support the mental wellness and resilience of consumers and their families
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High-level communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including consumers, families and carers, and multidisciplinary teams. A postgraduate degree in a relevant field and registration as a psychologist or psychiatrist is highly desirable.
